The place
The expedition house founded by two former British Army captains, for adventures on land, at sea and in the air.
Founded in 2017 by Geordie Mackay-Lewis and Jimmy Carroll, two former British Army captains, Pelorus designs expedition travel across the globe. The house deploys its means on land, at sea and in the air, with dedicated yachting and aviation arms.
Its standing rests on an almost military precision of execution and on rare access: the northern lights in Norway, the mangroves of Costa Rica, yacht expeditions in the Pacific. A firmly bespoke approach, the opposite of standardized circuits.
The so-luxe client lives the adventure without ever bearing its logistical weight: everything is anticipated, secured, orchestrated in detail. so-luxe orchestrates the itinerary and coordinates the house, remaining the discreet thread linking each stop to the next.
