On Melrose Avenue, one of the most influential print and multiples publishing workshops in the world.

Founded in 1966 by Kenneth E. Tyler in Los Angeles, Gemini G.E.L. (Graphic Editions Limited) is a publisher and artists’ workshop for limited-edition prints and sculptures, with on-site galleries on Melrose Avenue. It is one of the most important and influential printmaking workshops in the world.

Gemini has collaborated with the defining artists of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries — Jasper Johns, Ellsworth Kelly, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Ed Ruscha, Frank Stella, Richard Serra, David Hockney and Julie Mehretu — producing celebrated multiples in lithography, etching, screenprint, woodcut and sculptural media. It is an absolute reference in art editions.
